    Web schmoozing builds your resume

    By Jeremy | October 3, 2007

From the Jobs section of Monday's NY Post, "Myspace Race":
“Having social-networking skills is now like being able to use Microsoft Office - it’s a basic requirement,” says Paul Forster of the job search engine Indeed.com, where the number of jobs with “social networking” in the description has tripled since last year.
    And:
It seems other segments of the social-networking market are catching on to the fact that Internet schmoozing is now a resume builder.
    And:
“We understand that social networking is perhaps the most valuable business skill of all,” he says. “To be competitive in the job market, you have to be a master of it.”
