    Who’s Your Daddy Now?

    By Jeremy | May 22, 2007

My friend and one of my heros Doug Stringer donated 2,000 copies of his new book Who's Your Daddy Now to every participant at this year's Urban Youth Workers Institute. When he offered that gift a couple months ago I was blown away by his generosity, and then seeing a copy on everyone's seat that first night was extra special. Even more gratifying, I came across this note from Dian on the UYWI blog:
Hey y’all just a quick shout out from Naptown..on our flight back to Indy we sat next to a young lady who was headed to Tampa..long story short she said she was going to visit her dad..well my partner and I had severl copies of the book given to us at the conference “Who’s your daddy now” my partner pulled out one of the books and each of us wrote a word of encouragement to her and my partner gave her the book..she looked at the book and said thanks..I am to see mydad who’ve I not seen in over 12 years..her brother was not fellin her seeing their dad but she felt what happen in the past happened in the past and it was time to move on.. Of course we were all in tears but thankful for the moment gave for us to be a blessing and encourage someone else….remember we are blessed to bless someone else!
    Thanks, Doug, for your obedience!

I got a copy of it just before I left UYWI. Started reading the first few chapters… looks good.

Great to see you there Jeremy.
