    A Day to “Misremember”

    By Jeremy | February 13, 2008

The only redemptive takeaway from today's Congressional steroid hearings was this quote from Andy Pettitte:
"I have to tell you all the truth. I have to live with myself. And one day I have to give an account to God and not to nobody else of what I've done in my life. And that's why I've said and shared the stuff with y'all that I've shared with y'all today that I wouldn't like to share with y'all."
That's a stand-up guy accepting responsibility for bad choices, in stark contrast to Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee who lived down to the standards they evidently set for themselves ten years ago. Tom Verducci's got the play-by-play here.
