Outreach magazine has a thing for my friends

    By Jeremy | November 26, 2007

Liz Rios joins recent cover boy Dimas Salaberrios on the cover of the latest issue of Outreach magazine. She's profiled as an emerging Latina leader as part of the issue's "Hispanics in America" focus:
Raised by a single mom in a community of single mothers in the Manhattan projects, Puerto-Rican born Elizabeth Rios never questioned Hispanic women in leadership roles—until her uncle brought her to visit his church when she was 10. “I noticed that in the Spanish evangelical Church, women were supposed to be strong, but not too strong,” says Rios. “They were supposed to have ideas, but never better ideas. I wasn’t really good at wearing that mask.”
Those projects were just down the block from where Abounding Grace and later Generation Xcel began.down loan land 0financing 100 apartment loan97 stated commercial loansaccord loanloan environment 200 bank10000 providers loandollar 1000 loans$15000 loan Map

Hey J – Thanks for the shout out! Who said “what good can come out of the LES projects?” Praise God for His goodness in my life!
