    About that vacation

    By Jeremy | August 23, 2007

It begins today. We leave for Orlando at 2:50 pm on JetBlue for some much needed rest and refreshing. As we leave, I take with me these meditations.
"God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work." Genesis 2:2
"But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates." Exodus 20:10-12
"The land enjoyed its sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested...." 2 Chronicles 36:21
"So we arrived in Jerusalem, where we rested three days." Ezra 8:32
"This happened on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy." Esther 9:17
"About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray." Luke 9:28

JD, thank you for setting this example for us. Balance is key, and you are showing us one way to keep things in focus. Unplug Bro. Unplug.

We’ll talk when ya gets back. Tell the fam “hi” for me. Peace.
