    WCA Leadership Summit

    By Jeremy | August 13, 2007

I could only attend parts of this year's Willow Creek Leadership Summit, at two different satellite locations in two different cities. In all, I saw Bill Hybels' "Tough Choices" interview with Carly Fiorina at Grace Church in Baltimore, and Michael Porter and Colin Powell's sessions at Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn. I was unable to take notes of Carly's session, but encourage you to check her session webpage for blog thoughts, videos, and more. Her story of overcoming persistent fear (along with gender prejudices) to rise from a secretarial position to Fortune magazine's "Most Powerful Woman in Business" (ahead of Oprah!) as CEO of Hewlett Packard should inspire us all, in particular how she chose not to sell her soul in the face of corporate highjinks, power, and greed. I'll post my notes from the other sessions seperately.

Thanks for posting your notes. I didn’t get to any of the summit this year. Past two years have been great.
