    Amazing Grace

    By Jeremy | February 5, 2007

William Wilberforce changed history. Beginning as a 21-year-old (21!) British statesman, he led the fight to outlaw slavery in the British Empire. His story inspired at least one teenager I know to aspire to become a voice for the voiceless, which is why I can't wait to see the upcoming biopic Amazing Grace, and read the companion biography penned by humorist and author Eric Metaxas. The book hits shelves tomorrow, and the film opens February 23. Buy the book Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery. See the movie. Be inspired.
