A bad omen for rebuilding New Orleans

    By Jeremy | December 10, 2006

Democratic Congressman William Jefferson is allegedly too corrupt for incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who in June led an effort to remove him from the powerful House Ways and Means committee amidst federal bribery charges. But New Orleans voters reelected him in yesterday's runoff despite the ongoing investigation that includes the FBI allegedly finding $90,000 in cold hard bribery cash in his freezer. I wonder, could there be a connection between the Katrina "victims" who defrauded federal and private donors of more than $1 billion in relief and the willingness to vote 57% in favor of preserving status quo corruption?discharge personal loan bankruptcy afterbrokers loan personalpa personal loanpersonal quotes loanpersonal loans london companies infor personal loans arkansaspersonal for women loanslender loans personal Map
