    A grueling, if lucrative, work week? Or the amount of time average Americans ages 13-18 spend consuming electronic media?

    Additional findings: + 1/3 of teens own iPods, up from 1 percent in 2003 + More than half own Sony's PlayStation 2 + 1/3 own an original Microsoft Xbox + 3/4 play video games on a regular basis + Music is second only to their love of friends and ahead of their love of family + 68% of teens have created profiles on social networks like MySpace.com, Xanga or Facebook + More than 1/4 of the population keeps in touch with friends online daily, through instant messaging, e-mail, message boards or chat rooms + The average teen chats via IM with 35 people for a total of three hours a week. But the average teen will only call or e-mail with seven people who are not on their IM list on a weekly basis.
