Keeping up with the Del Rios

John Liotti visited NYC for a few days following CCDA; hung out with Diana, Judah and me on Sunday at Brooklyn's own 3rd Avenue Festival and then in Chinatown at Joe's Shanghai (Judah's favorite soupy dumpling spot); stayed at Abounding Grace's lap of luxury accomodations; dined with me at Ray's and barmarche on Monday; and took me to lunch for my birthday at Sea on Tuesday before departing for JFK. Great times! John, you're welcome to hang with the Del Rios any time.
Di and Judah prepared a quiet, homestyle birthday surprise fiesta Tuesday night. Wednesday, I picked Judah up from school and we visited cousin Seth, Uncle Jamie and Titi Tai. Tonight, Judah and I read about Absalom and David before bed. Not sure why we picked that story but he was enthralled. I'm leaving for Reload Fresno in the morning, but I'll be back on Sunday before church.
