“20/20 Vision for a New Day”

    By Jeremy | September 19, 2006

Pastor Sam Meza and the congregation at Living Hope Community Church in San Fernando, CA, chose that as the theme for their first ever strategic planning retreat. Much love and appreciation to them for inviting me to participate in such a significant time for their ministry, including three leadership trainings on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday worship at the church. Pastor Rudy posted audio from the Friday night lecture, Leading and Managing Strategically, here, along with Sunday's sermon, Vision for a New Day, here. Of the weekend's impact, one of the retreat organizers wrote:
"Personally I am still reeling from all the insight and conviction God spoke into my life through Jeremy.... I am still trying to digest it all. It's been deep core/life changing." - Rita, Executive VP at a Fortune 500 Company
The content of my presentations, including "Leading and Managing Strategically" and "Planning for Greatness 1 and 2," came largely from the books Built to Last and Good to Great (including the Good to Great for Social Sectors monograph), along with lectures by Prof. Tom Ference at Columbia University's Institute for Not-for-Profit Management. Go here to purchase the books. Email me to schedule similar trainings at your organization or business.
