    Overcoming Strep

    By Jeremy | August 9, 2006

The last few days have been debilitating. I started feeling crummy in Baltimore, which progressed from slight discomfort on Friday to excrutiating pain on Sunday. By Monday, I knew I needed to visit the doctor, but he was closed until Tuesday. So yesterday he diagnosed me with strep throat and/or a severe respitory infection and prescribed three medicines. I crashed around 5:15 Tuesday afternoon, and stayed sleeping until 8:30 this morning -- 15+ hours! That's closer to three nights sleep usually. Today feels like the beginnings of recovery. The throat still aches/burns/scratches, but it's improving.

      Hey Bro,
I sure hope you feel better. Thank you for today, and for facilitating this effort. I think it was a good conversation, and look foward to this journey.
