Pray for Isabel
By Jeremy | July 7, 2006
Scott McLane is a friend and ministry colleague I first met online over a year ago and have had the privilege to meet in the flesh on two recent trips to LA. He and his wife adopted baby Isabel six months or so ago. After noticing developmental delays the last two months, they took her to several specialists who, after a battery of tests, diagnosed her today as having suffered brain damage either in the late stages of pregnancy or during birth that caused a loss of 30+% of her brain trissue. While the doctors say there is no threat to her life or future brain damage (the VERY good news!) they cannot predict the long-term effects of the existing brain damage. It is possible that through extensive therapy (or a miracle) the rest of her brain can be "retrained" to learn "tasks" to compensate for the missing portion. Go here for Scott's moving report.
Please join me in praying for the Mclane family: Scott and Veronica (dad and mom) and Isabel.

We are praying for God’s wholeness and peace both physically and also for the family emotionally and mentally!
