Merry Christmas, Honey – or is it Kyra?

    By Jeremy | December 24, 2006

UPDATE: Judah changed her name three or four times last night, finally settling (I think) on Kyra -- which was inspired by Mom's comment that her coloring is like caramel. ______________________ Christmas visited Judah a day early, courtesy of scheduling issues with the pet store. For two years or so, Judah's been pleading for "a brother or a sister or a dog." As the timing hasn't quite worked on the brother or sister, Diana finally persuaded me to go along with the latter. ("Persuaded" means I get to smile at the dog when I want to, but have no responsibilities for her care. Zero, nada, none. Something tells me that's a pipe dream!) Judah named his 11-week-old Cavapoo Honey.

Congrats! Welcome to the pet owner world. We Rios’ love dogs. Have 3. But I’ll warn you after the novelty wears off, you may just have to have some responsibility after all. :-)
