But look at 2006 through a different lens and you'll see another story, one that isn't about conflict or great men. It's a story about community and collaboration on a scale never seen before. It's about the cosmic compendium of knowledge Wikipedia and the million-channel people's network YouTube and the online metropolis MySpace. It's about the many wresting power from the few and helping one another for nothing and how that will not only change the world, but also change the way the world changes.8% blog 39% read them. DJ has a great post about the demographics of bloggers and their audience. The crazy thing is, New Yorkers reelected this guy in a landslide last month. Teens get high on legal drugs. Something good comes from Nazareth. They've "gotta be the (hardest) shoes" to fill. Who can forget the classic Nike commercials for Air Jordans where Mars Blackman identifies the secret of Michael Jordan's basketball success? Now Jordan's son Jeffrey hopes to walk in dad's shoes as a highly recruited high school senior and basketball star.
